Sharone Villaret, animal osteopath:
Present at the Quinta de Lourel, Sharone Villaret, animal osteopath, practices in Portugal in the Lisbon region after 5 years of studies in animal osteopathy school at the European School of Animal Osteopathy (ESAO Normandie), with a double international curriculum in France and England. Graduated and registered on the national register of aptitude in animal osteopathy of the order of veterinarians in France (n° OA423), she can receive you at her office in Lourel, Sintra or on the move for animal osteopathy consultations.
She offers her services with passion and expertise, embodying a career rich in dedication and knowledge. After obtaining a scientific baccalaureate, she immersed herself for five years in the study of animal osteopathy at the École Supérieure d'Ostéopathie Animale (ESAO) in France. Her final thesis on "the study, diagnosis and approach to the treatment of shivering in equine osteopathy" was crowned with success, allowing her to obtain the title of animal osteopath, with honors.
With extensive training covering all animal species, Sharone has passed the national examination for animal osteopaths in collaboration with the order of veterinarians, allowing her to legally practice animal osteopathy in France and Europe and to be registered in the national register of aptitude for animal osteopaths (OA 423). Today, she puts her expertise to good use in Portugal, where she practices in her office located at Quinta de Lourel in Sintra, while providing itinerant consultations in the Lisbon region and throughout Portugal.
Her professional career is closely linked to her passion for animals. As an experienced rider for over 20 years, she has developed a keen sense of horse observation, enriched by her participation in numerous competitions. Her varied experience, particularly in veterinary clinics, gives her a deep understanding of the health and well-being needs of animals, whether large or small.
Sharone also expanded her reach internationally, organising osteopathy tours in French Guiana and Switzerland, before settling in Portugal. Her growing reputation even led to her being invited as a speaker at the International Horse Congress organised by the Horse Economic Forum in Alter do Chão, where she shared her expertise on the welfare and performance of sport horses.
Working closely with veterinarians, Sharone provides post-operative monitoring and effective rehabilitation to ensure optimal animal welfare. She is available to provide further information and to schedule appointments, ensuring your four-legged friends receive the best possible care.
